Does Canada’s Justice System Need to be Dismantled?

My interview with UBC law professor and author Benjamin Perrin

Crime in Canada is on the rise. According to recent Statistics Canada data, violent crime is at its most severe since 2007, and the murder rate is the highest it’s been since 1992. My guest on today’s program says our criminal justice system is not working — that it is expensive and ineffective and inhumane, and that the time has come to transform it.
