It's hard to put into words how relieving it is to simply enjoy a conversation between rational, perceptive creatives. It's regulating for the social nervous system: a visceral experience of 'thank g-d my people are out there.' Maybe a bit like reading a book as you both allude to at the end of the show.

A response to the beginning of the podcast. Men and women co-evolved and need each other for balance. Men have made the mistake of thinking that they don't need women. Feminists are making the mistake of thinking that they do not need Men.

Both are wrong.

My experience is that many lesbeins are close to their fathers. This about balance.

In choosing partners values are important, interests are not. When you have the same values as someone your differences provide balance and perspective and you can work it out.

As to meeting your partner, online is a very poor place, as is a bar. The best place is somewhere that you get to see the real person and their values.

Christians used to send their children to Bible school. They got to know each other over many months and in different contexts without pressure. It was a good model. Perhaps in 2025 you could send your kids to work on a environmental project for a year...

A couple of barren Leftwaffe progressive cat ladies, living through the greatest period in human history, and kvetching.

Whew.....how many men have dodged this bullet.

Actually, as it turns out, I have a dog.

I bet you had it neutered.

Not sure you’re living on the same planet as the rest of us. Please qualify the “greatest period in human history” for those of us watching the world burn.

So…..you won’t be providing any qualifications for your statement? Ok, I get it.

Put your phone down and go for a walk.

Infant mortality, poverty rates, medicine, surgeries, energy, communications, travel, cars, information, food, entertainment.

Face it, you're living better than Cleopatra and Queen Victoria combined.
