Hi Tara. Your guests are quite uniformly credentialed people of think tanks and chattering classes. It's enjoyable to listen to the discussions as you explore different topics, but what about finding random normies that work and live outside the bubble and interview them? Why do we give such credence to credentialed people? Just a thought.
This is such an interesting discussion. It makes me think a lot. There is however an industry that profits from all this pain and suffering: the fertility industry and one of its most controversial practice: surrogacy. Surrogacy bypasses all the "problems" listed above by outsourcing pregnancy and birth so that anyone (with money) can become a parents, regardless of the collective social consequences. Québec is currently regulating surrogacy and listening to the debates is quite surreal. There is a quasi media black out on the voice that have been asking questions. If you are interested, the twitter account of WDI Québec is quite interesting and some members could do interviews in English.
This is an essential topic, touching not only the women of our culture but everyone else through the women. The female side of Canada needs to be served better than by the ideologues who have pushed an agenda opposing what should be the elevated place of what the female roles bring to us all. The poor service continues, for example, in the deconstruction of women's sports, with little concern being voiced. As a man, Tara, I cheer on your efforts in what your recent focus has brought to bear. I would apologize for my gender if I had any control over the lesser schooled of us who do not see women as equals. It is as if they ignore the business of creating the "sum is greater than the parts" reality of the proper dynamics of our dance together.
