Excellent interview. What stands out for me is something that has always bothered me about the more radical aspects of the trans activist movement (which I distinguish from trans people who are trying to live their lives with dignity) i.e. the regressive assumption that physicality can be denied; and the implication that the deep physically creative forces we embody are something that can be overlooked, diminished, fetishized, even. Something about how Rosie described the emergency birth of her child brought this home.
