Such exquisitely formed interviews, finely crafted dialogue and rich new thinking about difficult subjects! I have learned a great deal following along. Thank you.
A great year for you Tara, and for your readers. I can’t tell you how much your reasoned words have meant other than liken them to a light in the darkness. ….and onwards into 2023!
Thank you! Love your stuff and I’m so happy to have found your Substack and am thrilled to be a paid follower. You’re immensely talented, have common sense, and have a very compassionate air to all of your reporting.
You have accomplished so much this year and it is certainly worth celebrating. I look forward to your next steps and I share your excitement about being able to hire new staff to support your work on Lean Out. I am very grateful for your podcast and articles… they have kept me sane through 2022. 😂 Enjoy your success…you have earned it!
Thank you for everything you’ve done this last year Tara. You have been one of my beacons of hope and inspiration for the future. Great work you’re doing!
Thank you for a year of brilliant, honest, enduring and curious writing. You have my deep appreciation and respect.
Especially in these days when independent thought and expression is being oppressed, and Orwellian submission is being embraced by a good lot in our society(Lol I am currently reading 1984, by George Orwell in book form).
You inspired and encouraged me, the day I stumbled upon your substack. I immediately became a paid subscriber in solidarity and respect for your position and knowledge. I was fired from my on air radio position in small town Dauphin Manitoba at 730 CKDM radio Nov 16th, 2022. It turned out to be a good thing that happened and I Embrace the change and growth it brought me.

Congratulations on a year of journalistic excellence. As someone based in Ottawa who actually took a moment to go to the Hill and speak to protesters in January, finding Lean Out at this time made me feel less alone in the face of media blue pills, bureaucratic hypocrisy and general hysteria. Looking forward to following your work in 2023 -- fingers crossed that Lean Out sets the stage for a general return to some semblance of standards for journalism in this country.
You got me. After one year of listening, reading, sharing and admiring your Lean Out Turns One piece snagged another fully paid subscriber. I enjoy your work. Congrats Tara on keeping it real.

Many thanks for the revival of fair journalism
Great real journalism - following your curiosity and the truth. Not some narrative.
You are a role model for all journalists. Go Tara!

Thank you, Tara. I know how it feels to step off the edge and believe - desperately hope that you can fly. Guess what? You can.
