The funniest aspect of the sketch is that it’s barely satire. Let’s hope last week’s “you need to sniff your poop to be a trans ally” receives similar comedic treatment.
Thank you for focusing on peach cobbler. It has been unclear to me why canadians on social media seem to need to reflect all their outrage at the south-of-the-border supreme court decision when we are in no imminent danger of losing that right in Canada, but very much in danger of losing internet free speech or other forms of bodily autonomy. Could we save some energy for stuff that needs doing here, and where we actually have agency if we choose to use it?
So grateful for your substack and podcast. I feel “ seen and heard”. From your interviews with greg lukianoff , kevin bardoch to todays much needed post discussing one of my favourite personalities/writers , Sedaris. Thank you! 🇨🇦

This is EXACTLY what I needed today given everything that is going on here. And there.
Thank you Tara!
Isn't posting the recipe like that a copyright violation unless permissions were obtained? I do see prose in it.

I LOST IT with that sketch.
I don’t think most people understand what this is actually about. Here are a couple of helpful pieces.

I'm actually paid for the job that DS does voluntarily, although I work in an Urban Forest. It's very therapeutic.
