Thanks Tara. Another reminder to be full of thanks and gratitude for the sweetness of life. It was taken away from us so harshly and unapologetically. And could happen again, God forbid. But for now let's be grateful and pray and hope for a better future.

Thanks for this beautiful piece. I felt similar to you during the lockdowns and went for long walks with my 11 year old daughter everyday to try to capture some sense of normalcy. Even though I walked through a city, we rarely encountered anyone on our walks. I did not have your mother telling me it would pass, and I often thought it might not. Thanks for all the work you do, the difficult questions you ask and for representing a media that welcomes hard conversations and isn't afraid to speak and ask questions. I deeply appreciate the work you do.

What a beautiful read, thanks for this Tara, you brought back the feeling of that isolation and the meaning of gratitude that we've weathered the storm and we are truly connecting again in so much more authentic ways. Thank you.

I love what you do on this stack. Please keep it up, and here's a (metaphorical? electronic?) hug from a grumpy old man.
