With all due respect I don’t think it does. There a huge chunk on the right that is batshit crazy and damned illiberal themselves. But it doesn’t hurt to identify the right problems. If what you’re saying is there’s an illiberal streak on the right too these day, you’re absolutely right. But it’s not the same.
The right in Canada has no apparent power or even much influence...
