What has been lost, for many years, is the difference between a Want and a Need. "Over Shopping", in my opinion, is a sign of loneliness or unhappiness. It Buys a temporary bit of reprieve. This used to be assigned to shopoholics but not anymore. Also, it appears that Western Governments will be reducing consumerism whether we want to or not. Beware the message from WEF " You Will Own Nothing and Be Happy " all in the name of Climate Change. I think Jordan Peterson would have a lot more to say on this subject that would be worth listening to.
